Ils sont peu nombreux, les artistes ayant été en contrat dans une major, à se risquer dans l’aventure Internet. Perry Blake, après un passé chez Universal, puis chez l’indépendant Naïve, a choisi de sauter dedans à pieds joints : il est devenu la tête d’affiche d’Aka Music, un site de plus qui mets les internautes à contribution pour réunir les 80 000 euros nécessaires aux artistes pour sortir leur disque. Un modèle qui ne se cantonne donc plus aux illustres inconnus, et qui a séduit Perry Blake par sa simplicité : si ça marche, le chanteur irlandais livrera son nouvel album au premier trimestre 2010. Dans le cas contraire, il repart, son contrat et ses chansons sous le bras, sans aucune complication juridique et en gardant la mainmise sur ses droits d’auteur.

You're so right Funambule ! There's not enough Perry Blake on the radio. Alas, this statement is valid for many singers. If only I were a broadcast programmer !
